Key Advantages & Properties
Corrosion Resistance
The improved corrosion resistance of 55% Al-Zn Alloy Coated Steel Coils are derived from the unique combination of the barrier protection of Aluminum and the sacrificial protection of Zinc. The formation of an insoluble Aluminum oxide layer provides the barrier protection while Zinc provides a sacrificial protection at cut edges, scratches and areas of coating damage. Good corrosion resistance at high temperatures is guaranteed.
Abrasion Resistance
Good abrasion resistance because of its surface hardness, ensuring long-term durability in challenging environments and under physical wear.
Heat Resistance
Similar to the Aluminum Coated Steel Sheet that can resist high temperature oxidation, 55% Al-Zn Alloy-Coated Steel Sheet demonstrates better resistance to high temperature.
Reflectivity
Excellent thermal and light reflectivity. 55% Al-Zn Alloy-Coated Steel Coil has a high reflectivity value making it an effective barrier against heat.

Frequently Asked Questions
What standards do your Galvalume steel materials comply with?
Our materials comply with major international standards including ASTM A792/A792M (American standard for cold rolled hot dip Galvalume), JIS G 3321 (Japanese standard for hot dipped Galvalume steel coils), and EN 10346 (European standard for continuously hot-dip coated steel flat products).
What makes Aluzinc coated steel highly resistant to corrosion?
The 55% Al-Zn alloy coating offers unique dual protection: the aluminum content forms an insoluble aluminum oxide barrier, while the zinc content provides sacrificial protection at cut edges, scratches, and damaged coating areas.
Can Galvalume steel coils withstand high temperatures?
Yes. Similar to aluminum-coated steel sheets, the 55% Al-Zn alloy-coated steel shows superior resistance to high-temperature oxidation and offers excellent thermal reflectivity, acting as an effective barrier against heat.
What are the primary applications of Aluzinc Coated Steel Coils?
They are widely used in building & construction, agricultural equipment, computer appliances, transportation, furniture, and electrical appliances.
What sizes and grades of Galvalume steel are available?
We offer thicknesses ranging from 0.1 to 1.5mm and widths from 600 to 1500mm. Available grades include DX51D, DX52D, DX53D, DX54D, and S220GD to S550GD.
What surface treatment options do you provide?
We offer several surface treatment options to meet your needs, including Oiled, Chromated, Dry + Chromated, and Anti-Fingerprint treatments.
