China Galvalume Steel Coil Suppliers - High-Quality Aluzinc Coils from Trusted Factory

Aluzinc steel is a premium composite material featuring a coating made of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon, applied through a continuous hot dip galvanizing process. This innovative aluzinc-zinc coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance due to the barrier effect of aluminum combined with the sacrificial protection of zinc. Aluzinc steel showcases a bright, silvery surface adorned with small spangles, offering a striking appearance that changes with the light, As one of the fastest-growing metallic coatings globally, aluzinc steel is favored for its unique blend of strength, formability, and recyclability. This material combines the robust traits of steel with the long-term anti-corrosion benefits of the AI-Zn alloy coating, making it an economical choice for various applications. Its eco-friendly attributes, including durability, recyclability, and energy efficiency, underscore its status as a sustainable solution in the industry, Our factory specializes in manufacturing Continuously Hot Dip Galvalume (GL) Coils, adhering to the highest standards to meet the needs of our clients. As a trusted supplier in China, we are committed to delivering high-quality aluzinc products that contribute to your projects' success while emphasizing sustainability and performance

Description

ASTM A792/A792M – 10(2015)
This is the American standard for cold rolled hot dip Galvalume steel materials.
JIS G 3321 :2010
This is the Japanese material standard associated with hot dipped Galvalume steel coils.
EN 10346:2015
This is the European material standard for continuously hot-dip coated steel flat products. (Supersedes BS EN 10327:2004 & BS EN 10326:2004)
Advantages
  • Good corrosion resistance at high temperatures
  • Good abrasion resistance because of its surface hardness
  • Excellent thermal and light reflectivity.
Corrosion Resistance
The improved corrosion resistance of 55% Al-Zn Alloy Coated Steel Coils are derived from the unique combination of the barrier protection of Aluminum and the sacrificial protection of Zinc. The formation of an insoluble Aluminum oxide layer provides the barrier protection while Zinc provides a sacrificial protection at cut edges, scratches and areas of coating damage.
Heat Resistance
Similar to the Aluminum Coated Steel Sheet that can resist high temperature oxidation, 55% Al-Zn Alloy-Coated Steel Sheet demonstrates better resistance to high temperature.
Reflectivity
55% Al-Zn Alloy-Coated Steel Coil has a high reflectivity value making it an effective barrier against heat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What standards do your Aluzinc Coated Steel Coils comply with?
Our materials comply with international standards including the American standard ASTM A792/A792M – 10(2015), the Japanese standard JIS G 3321:2010, and the European standard EN 10346:2015.
What are the primary advantages of using Galvalume steel?
Galvalume steel offers excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures, outstanding abrasion resistance due to its surface hardness, and superior thermal and light reflectivity.
How does the 55% Al-Zn coating protect the steel from corrosion?
It utilizes a dual-protection mechanism: Aluminum forms an insoluble oxide barrier to block corrosive elements, while Zinc provides sacrificial protection at cut edges, scratches, and areas with coating damage.
Does Galvalume steel have good heat resistance?
Yes. Much like Aluminum Coated Steel Sheet, the 55% Al-Zn Alloy-Coated Steel Sheet exhibits enhanced resistance to high-temperature oxidation and acts as an effective thermal barrier due to its high reflectivity.
What sizes and specifications are available for these coils?
Our coils are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.1mm to 1.5mm, widths from 600mm to 1500mm, zinc coating weights from 40g/m² to 180g/m², and coil weights between 3 to 7 tons.
What surface finishes can be applied to the steel coils?
We offer multiple surface treatment options to suit your project needs, including Oiled, Chromated, Dry + Chromated, and Anti-Fingerprint coatings.
