China Galvalume Steel Coil Suppliers - Premium Aluzinc Coating Factory Products for Superior Corrosion Resistance

Aluzinc steel is a premium product consisting of a coating made up of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. This advanced coating is applied through a continuous hot dip galvanizing process, ensuring superior corrosion resistance. The unique properties of Aluzinc come from its aluminum barrier effect on the surface, combined with the sacrificial protection offered by zinc. This results in a clean, bright silvery surface adorned with small spangles that create a lustrous appearance, changing dynamically with varying light conditions.

As one of the fastest-growing metallic coatings available today, Aluzinc combines the strength, formability, and recyclability of steel with the proven long-term anti-corrosion performance of the aluminum-zinc alloy coating. This advantageous combination leads to an economical product with outstanding eco-friendly features, including durability, recyclability, energy efficiency, and optimal resource utilization.

Our factory in China specializes in manufacturing Continuously Hot Dip Galvalume (GL) Coils that meet international standards. As reliable suppliers, we are committed to providing high-quality Aluzinc products that meet the diverse needs of our customers globally.

Description & Standards

ASTM A792/A792M – 10(2015)
This is the American standard for cold rolled hot dip Galvalume steel materials.
JIS G 3321 :2010
This is the Japanese material standard associated with hot dipped Galvalume steel coils.
EN 10346:2015
This is the European material standard for continuously hot-dip coated steel flat products, which Supersedes BS EN 10327:2004 & BS EN 10326:2004.

Advantages

Good corrosion resistance at high temperatures
Good abrasion resistance because of its surface hardness
Excellent thermal and light reflectivity.
Corrosion Resistance
The improved corrosion resistance of 55% Al-Zn Alloy Coated Steel Coils are derived from the unique combination of the barrier protection of Aluminum and the sacrificial protection of Zinc. The formation of an insoluble Aluminum oxide layer provides the barrier protection while Zinc provides a sacrificial protection at cut edges, scratches and areas of coating damage.
Heat Resistance
Similar to the Aluminum Coated Steel Sheet that can resist high temperature oxidation, 55% Al-Zn Alloy-Coated Steel Sheet demonstrates better resistance to high temperature.
Heat Transmission & Reflectivity
55% Al-Zn Alloy-Coated Steel Coil has a high reflectivity value making it an effective barrier against heat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What standards do your Galvalume steel coils comply with?
Our products are manufactured according to international standards, including ASTM A792/A792M (American standard for cold rolled hot dip Galvalume), JIS G 3321 (Japanese standard for hot dipped Galvalume steel coils), and EN 10346 (European standard for continuously hot-dip coated steel flat products).
What are the primary advantages of Aluzinc Coated Steel?
It offers excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures, superb abrasion resistance thanks to its surface hardness, and outstanding thermal and light reflectivity.
How does the 55% Al-Zn alloy coating protect the steel from corrosion?
The protection comes from a unique combination of the barrier protection of Aluminum (which forms an insoluble Aluminum oxide layer) and the sacrificial protection of Zinc (which protects cut edges, scratches, and damaged areas).
How well does Aluzinc coated steel resist heat?
Similar to Aluminum Coated Steel Sheet, the 55% Al-Zn Alloy-Coated Steel Sheet has excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidation. Additionally, its high reflectivity value makes it an effective barrier against heat transmission.
What sizes and grades of Galvalume steel coils are available?
We offer thicknesses ranging from 0.1mm to 1.5mm and widths from 600mm to 1500mm. Available grades include DX51D, DX52D, DX53D, DX54D, and structural grades from S220GD up to S550GD.
